CorelDRAW 2025 is here, and we’re excited about the new update! Our team is actively working to ensure Smart Designer remains fully compatible with the latest version. However, before upgrading, there’s an important change in Corel’s license agreement that you should be aware of.
Changes to the Corel End User Licensing Agreement
With CorelDRAW 2025, Corel has updated its end user licensing agreement.
- Corel End User License Agreement: https://www.corel.com/en/eula/
- Changes to the agreement may impact your access to older CorelDRAW versions after you install CorelDRAW 2025.
- Here is a link to the CorelDRAW end-user license agreement, the new policy is outlined in section: PRODUCT UPGRADES, UPDATES & PATCHES
This means that if any of your settings, drivers, or third-party add-ons (including Smart Designer) aren’t fully compatible with CorelDRAW 25 yet, you could experience workflow disruptions.
Our Recommendation
We’re confident that Smart Designer will be fully compatible with CorelDRAW 2025 soon, but we strongly recommend:
- Waiting to upgrade until you verify that all essential tools, drivers, and add-ons work smoothly with CorelDRAW 2025.
- Checking with your team to ensure that upgrading won’t disrupt any ongoing projects.
Smart Designer Compatibility Update
We are currently testing a Smart Designer compatibility patch for CorelDRAW 2025 and expect to release it on or before April 1. Once available, we’ll provide instructions on how to update your software.
Stay Updated
We’ll keep you posted on the status of the compatibility patch. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team.
